Design Process

The process for designing a new collection follows a structured approach, ensuring that creativity, technical precision, and market relevance align.

1. Research & Concept Development

  • Market & Trend Analysis: Identify key trends, consumer preferences, and gaps in the market.

  • Inspiration Gathering: Create mood boards with colors, textures, historical references, and themes.

  • Concept Finalization: Define the collection’s story, target audience, and core aesthetic.

2. Design Development

  • Sketching & Illustration: Hand-drawn or digital fashion sketches exploring silhouettes and detailing.

  • Fabric & Trim Selection: Choose textiles, embellishments, and sustainable materials where applicable.

  • Color Palette & Textile Testing: Ensure color harmonization and fabric compatibility with the designs.

What we need from you   ( we can assist with this if you don't have it yet)

1. Your Brand Identity & Vision

  • Brand Name & Story – Background, inspiration, and unique selling points.

  • Target Audience – Age, gender, lifestyle, and purchasing behavior.

  • Brand Aesthetic – Minimalist, avant-garde, streetwear, luxury, etc.

  • Core Values – Sustainability, inclusivity, craftsmanship, etc.

  • Competitor Analysis – Reference brands or inspirations.

2. Collection Details & Design Direction

  • Season & Theme – Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter, or trans-seasonal.

  • Number of Pieces – Capsule collection (10-15 pieces) or full collection (20+ pieces).

  • Silhouettes & Styles – Dresses, outerwear, separates, etc.

  • Color Palette & Fabrics – Preferred colors, textures, and sustainability considerations.

  • Prints & Embellishments – Digital prints, embroidery, embellishments, or graphic elements.

  • Fit & Sizing – Standard, extended sizes, or custom fits.
